In
order to celebrate Struer's railway 150 years anniversary, the
international theatre group Altamira Studio Teater has realised a
special version of its theatre concert The World in a
Song, in close collaboration with Struer
Museum.
Trains and stations are a part of any child's dreams and fantasies,
and even when we become adults, they don't miss ther power to
fascinate us.
FUTTE FUTTE FUT is a musical and poetic
performance, which celebrates the mythological image of the train
and the archetipical atmosphere of the station.
A
strange family of railwaymen, train workers and romantic passengers
takes us to a musical, entertaining and poetic trip on a train,
which runs from Struer ou to the world, where Danosh famous
train-songs and less known train-poems travel with rythms and
melodies from Italy, France, Spain and South America.
The
end of the performance brings us back to our daily reality, where
trains and stations are often a part of our worst nightmares.
